Example files (for better understanding)

It would be very nice to have some subform example files to understand the basics.
As a ux/ui-designer with visual design background i'd love to see (within an actual file) how things are meant to be done.
i saw screenshots of designs here in this forum i'm not able to reproduce. i'm sure the quickest way to understand is a file to play with.

Here's a file - in progress work. I don't have any freeform boxes in here, everything is computed. It took me a while to feel comfortable with the mental model but I think I've got the hang of it enough to keep moving forward.
