Autosave or save dialog before quitting

#1

I just quit Subform after doing some changes in an artboard and it quit just like that, all the changes gone.
Autosave would be a great feature, but at the very least, Subform should ask me if I really want to quit when I haven't saved the changes.

Agreed that this would be nice to have. I'll look into it, thanks @amrancz

Hey Kevin, on the latest release I can see you've added quit warning but it doesn't seem to be working.

#4

Can you be more specific about what's not working?

The dialog should appear when quitting Subform when you have unsaved changes (i.e., if the most recent event in your file was anything besides a "save" or "load")

What platform are you on?
Does the dialog appear?
Do the buttons do something besides what you expect?

Hey Kevin,

Sorry for the extremely obscure bug report, I was actually in a rush when writing. You can exactly see how it's happening - behind the subform, it's photoshop

I'm on OSx 10.11.6

Thanks for the video! I can replicate the issue in the latest release and tracked down the underlying cause, which was in our build toolchain. I'll cut a new release after Thanksgiving. Thanks for the report!

Yeah, sure no problem. Happy thanksgiving! :dizzy:
